LOPSG works hard to ensure that older people’s views and needs influence all Greater London Authority decision making.

Our representations to the previous Mayor Ken Livingstone on the establishment of a London older people’s centre resulted, in April 2004, in his creating the London Older People’s Resource Facility, staffed by two project officers, to support the work of all older people’s groups in London.

We now look forward to working with the new Mayor Boris Johnson and his team.
