London Older Peoples Strategies Group

Stan is currently chair of the Greater London Forum for Older People (GLFOP), a member of the LOPSG committee and of his local forum. He chaired the National Reference Group for Older People (HOPe) both during the development of the National Service Framework for Older People and during its implementation and was also chair of the Rowntree Foundation older people's research project. In his working life, Stan was an active trade unionist, shop steward and convenor.
