Mohamed Aslam Khan Lodhi


Mohamed has actively participated in the Capital Age Festival and contributed to LOPSG, GLF for Older People and Help the Aged meetings.

As a social worker he has used many Asian languages to access, provide and negotiate culturally appropriate services in mental health, disabilities, dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

He is the founder and President of the Basaira Elderly Centre, a committee member of LCF, LAMPAG and NPC Greater London Region. He is also a trustee of Age Concern Lambeth and contributes on elderly people's problems and services.

He chairs the Advisory Group of the Policy Research Institute on Ageing and Ethnicity (PRIAE), South England.
