Kurban Haji
Vice Chair, LOPSG

Kurban came to London in the late 1960s and has lived for the past 30 years in Southwark where he has been involved in many local issues. He is Chair of the South Asian Elders Group and a Committee member of Southwark Pensioners' Forum. He is also Chair of Southwark Art Forum's Seniors Creative Network which runs arts and craft workshops for older people.

In his spare time, he plays badminton and is an active member of Entelechy Arts writing and performing plays in Southwark.

Kurban has been Vice Chair of LOPSG since August 2006. He also helped to organise the first Capital Age Winter Festival in 2007.
