David Gardiner OBE

David lives in St Martin's Estate, Tulse Hill and for over 25 years has been active with older volunteers to bring decent housing, regeneration and £42 million in investment to its 1,300 homes and neighbourhood.

He represents London on the Better Government for Older People UK Advisory Group, and in recent years has been a member of several government and independent housing / health / care advisory bodies including HOPDEV (GLA), Housing Corporation, HACT, Joseph Rowntree, Audit Commission, and the Independent Living for Disabled People Expert Panel (DWP). He is also a Trustee of Age Concern Lambeth.
