Caroline joined Counsel & Care, the national charity getting the best support for older people, as Policy & Communications Manager in January 2006. Her responsibilities include government and media relations, as well as managing the website and the corporate identity of the charity.

Caroline spent the previous four years as Corporate Policy Officer at Anchor Trust, the largest provider of housing, care and support to older people in England.
